According to the Cancer Research Institute, there are 4 criteria that can be used as a benchmark to determine the mole is dangerous or not is called the ABCD rule:
- Asymmetry
Mole cancerous tend to have irregular shapes.
- Border
Moles that are cancerous have a limit or edge of the abnormal, the jagged edges.
- Color
Mole with various colors such as brown, red, white, blue and black are often marked the mole cancerous moles than with one color.
- Dimension
Moles that are cancerous are usually larger than benign moles, can for a pencil eraser or larger.
Mole cancer risk should be treated immediately before having metastatic or spreading to other body parts. But with advanced technology in the medical world today, moles can be removed with surgery or laser techniques. It took 2 weeks until the skin completely healed after surgery. Most people realize they have a mole but others do not realize that a difficult position in the back looks like. We recommend that you check all parts of the body (face, ears, neck, chest, back, toes / hands, hair skin, lips, eyes and even genitals) to see a mole or not. Make sure also always use a moisturizer or sun protection cream and avoid the light between 10 am and 4 pm.
